Woman Arrested for Drunken Driving After Crash
The accident occurred at 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of Lowell and Brady.
The Salem Police Department arrested a Massachusetts woman on a charge of driving under the influence and driving after suspension for driving under the influence following an accident May 15.
Police said Jennifer Sanchez, 21, of 3 River Place, #1508, Lowell, Mass., was charged after crashing a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse convertible into a utility pole at the intersection of Lowell Road and Brady Avenue at around 12:30 p.m.
The Salem Fire Department transported her to the hospital, where she was treated and released.
Salem Police continue to investigate the accident and ask that anyone with information on the case to call Officer Matthew Mackenzie at (603) 893-1911.
