Woman's Purse Stolen While at Church

Monday, Nov. 25

• 8:28 a.m.: An accident was reported on North Broadway.
• 11:36 a.m.: An accident was reported on Red Roof Lane.
• 12:52 p.m.: An accident was reported on Lowell Road.
• 1:25 p.m.: A woman reported that her purse was stolen while attending a meeting at the Triumphant Cross Lutheran Church on Zion Hill Road.
• 2:19 p.m.: A burglary was reported on South Shore Road.
• 2:40 p.m.: Loretta Christine Helinski, 53, of 12 Sleepy Hollow Road, Salem was charged with resisting arrest/detention, simple assault and disorderly conduct. She was released to her husband.
• 2:42 p.m.: Nathanael Elias Pena, 20, of 542 Merrimack St., Methuen, MA was charged with criminal threat against person and harassment.
• 2:56 p.m.: An accident was reported on Main Street.
• 6:44 p.m.: A hit-and-run accident was reported on Main Street.
