Youth Fishing Derby is Coming

2. ZBA MEETS: The board will convene at 7 p.m. in the Knightly Meeting Room at Town Hall.
3. ANNUAL YOUTH FISHING DERBY: From the Greater Salem Rotary Club: The Greater Salem Rotary Club is once again privilged to sponsor the Town of Salem's Annual Youth Fishing Derby, this year to be held on Saturday, April 20th beginning at 8:30AM. Open to children aged 15 years and under this terrific event is held at Salem's Hedgehog Pond on Pelham Road.

4. THIS DAY IN HISTORY: On this day in 1777, the Continental Congress promotes Colonel Ebenezer Learned to the rank of brigadier general of the Continental Army.
5. ANNUAL FIELD OF DREAMS SPRING CLEANUP: This year's cleanup event will take place on April 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Refreshments will be provided during the day, with lunch at the end.
