County leaders say they aim to fill gaps, not take over, as rising costs and low reimbursements strain small-town EMS across Cheshire County.
   

• Emily Angelina Pasquill (vnews.com) — Family and friends in Swanzey are mourning Emily Angelina (Zappala) Pasquill, whose late daughter and several grandchildren made their homes in town. The longtime New Englander and UNH graduate died November 28 in Georgia, and a graveside service will be held in Hanover, New Hampshire at a later date.
