5 Things: Snow Slams Windham
Winter packs its first punch and some New Year's tidbits for you.

1. SNOW! A winter storm warning remains in effect. Before the snow started flying last night, the National Weather Service forecast called for 3 to 5 inches overnight in Windham, with 2 to 4 inches during Thursday. How much snow did you get at your house?
2. UPCOMING CLOSING OF TOWN OFFICES: Town offices will be closed on New Year's Day, which is next Tuesday. Make sure you get in to Town Hall or the Community Development Department to get any town business done before that date.
3. SELECTMEN MEET: The board will have its final meeting of 2012 today at 4 p.m. at the Community Development Department. We will keep you abreast if that time is pushed back or the meeting is postponed.

5. CELEBRITIES CALL FOR END TO GUN VIOLENCE IN PSA: In case you missed it, this viral video was posted to YouTube just before Christmas.
