A Wet Thursday Awaits in Windham

1. The weatherman says ... Today's forecasted high, according to Weather.com, is 58 degrees with mostly sunny skies and a 90-percent chance of rain. The overnight low is projected at 31 degrees.

2. Jaguars' Journal. The top-seeded Windham High School boys soccer team is in playoff action today. The Jags are scheduled to face No. 4 Oyster River at 6 p.m. at Exeter High School.

3. Windham’s Helping Hand’s Wellness in Motion Walk-A-Thon ... is 
sure to be a wonderful event for the whole family. Walk with your family, walk 
with your friends, walk with your organization on Saturday, November 9th 
around Griffin Park at 8:30 am, and have fun while getting healthy. Walk the 
loop five times and earn a set of beads for every lap you complete (as well as 
one at registration). Donations of $10 per individual, $25 per family will be 
greatly appreciated and all donations stay in the community. Sponsorship

receive a free t-shirt! Enjoy music and the outdoors and help celebrate Windham’s Helping Hands 10th anniversary!

4. Honoring our Veterans. Don't forget, next Monday, Nov. 11, is Veterans' Day, a scheduled day off at Windham public schools. Windham Town offices and U.S. Post offices will also be closed for the holiday.
