Annual Boat Parade Coming to Cobbett's Pond

If today's scorcher is any indication, summer has officially arrived in Windham like a hammer.

With the summer heat comes an event hosted by the Cobbett's Pond Improvement Association – the Annual Boat Parade and Shore Decorating.

This year's theme, according to a release on the event, will be Old TV Shows. Families and friends are invited to decorate their boats and join the parade.

Participants are asked to be as creative as possible when decorating their boats. For those who do not want to enter the parade, the shore decorating will invite people to decorate their waterfronts with designs.

Winners will be announced immediately after the parade, and great views can be found at the Town Beach for those who have a membership.
