Boston and several surrounding suburbs are in lockdown as police hunt for the remaining suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings. Public transportation was shut down Friday morning, and officials have told people to stay in their homes. One suspect was reportedly killed in a shootout with police in Watertown. A MIT police officer was also killed. Police are searching for the second suspect in the Watertown area. Keep up with the manhunt here. The residential lockdown order applied to residents of Watertown, Newton, Waltham, Belmont, Cambridge and the Allston-Brighton neighborhoods of Boston, among other areas.
