Police: Armed Home Invasion Was 'Targeted'

The incident reportedly happened around 7:45 a.m.

UPDATE, 2:48 P.M.: Windham Police Chief Gerald Lewis issued a press release this afternoon saying that this morning's home invasion in Windham was specifically targeted.

According to the release, officials responded to Lowell Road for a report of a woman standing in a yard with a young child seeking help.

Officers were advised that armed men were at the woman's home at 59 Bear Hill Road assaulting her boyfriend.

When officers responded to the address, they discovered that the suspects had already fled the home.

No one at the residence was injured in the incident.

Police are searching for four men in connection with an armed home invasion this morning in Windham, according to the Nashua Telegraph.

The newspaper is reporting that the home invasion happened around 7:45 a.m., and that local and state police are searching for four suspects who fled in a silver vehicle with Florida plates. Police said the incident is believed to be drug related. The address where the home invasion occurred has not yet been released.
