Boys Volleyball Advances to Finals, Baseball Ousted
The volleyball team at WHS will take on Salem in the championship Saturday.

One Windham squad advanced to the state finals Thursday while another saw their season end by the narrowest of margins.
The boys volleyball team at Windham High School ousted Londonderry High three sets to one at Pinkerton Academy. The team will advance to take on top seeded Salem on Saturday with the winner bringing home the Division I championship.
The news wasn't quite as good for Windham baseball, who saw a spectactular run through their first Division II state tournament come to an abrupt end with a tight 6-5 defeat to Portsmouth.

The Portsmouth victory creates a matchup of top seeds in the state final, as they advance to take on no. 1 seed Goffstown at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester on Saturday morning.
