College Fair Coming to WHS Next Week

2. COLLEGE FAIR AT WHS: From the Windham High School daily bulletin: 

Windham HS is hosting a College Fair on Tuesday, April 9th from 11:00am to 1:00pm in the gymnasium. Open to Students, Parents and Staff. There will be 65 colleges, universities or careers represented. We encourage you to take time to visit with these representatives, introduce yourself and ask the questions that might be of interest to you about that college, the curriculum, tuition, the activities on campus or campus traditions, the dorms, the food or anything else that would be of important to you. Ask for a list of majors, admission requirements, open house dates and a business card for contact information.

THIS DAY IN HISTORY: On April 4, 1933, Bill France Jr., the leading force behind the transformation of the National Association of Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) from a regional sport into a multibillion-dollar industry with fans worldwide, is born on this day in 1933 in Washington, D.C. France's father, William France Sr. (1909-92), founded NASCAR in 1948.
