
UPDATE 6:35 PM A Windham Fire official has reported that a woman transported to the hospital following a gas grill fire did not receive any burns, but rather injuries from the incident.
Fire Lt. Tim Dunn reported that the woman was on the patio attempting to light the gas grill when it exploded. He added that she received non life-threatening injuries as a result of being thrown from the explosion.
The woman's husband was home at the time, but not out on the patio with her.

She was transported to Saints Memorial Medical Center in Lowell, Mass.
There is no indication at this time as to how the explosion took place, and the incident is currently under investigation.

A Windham woman was transported to the hospital this afternoon after receiving burns, according to a news alert.
The incident took place at 16 Greenway Road, and was reported around 5:50 p.m.
The burns were reportedly received from a gas grill fire. There was no indication as to the severity of the burns.
