
Windham High School's Smart Chix organization will host a Raytheon employee today for a presentation on women in STEM fields.
Natalie Chounard, a graduate in Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan Business School will speak to students and other residents interested.
The event will take place in room F310 immediately after school.

Principal Tom Murphy called the event a "tremendous opportunity" for those considering STEM fields, which stands for science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
Chounard is currently an Engineering Manager at Raytheon.

"She will also be able to speak specifically about opportunities for female undergraduates and how to leverage your math and science skills as a female in STEM college admissions," said Murphy.
