1. TODAY'S FORECAST: A nice fall day is expected in town with a high of 49 and mostly sunny skies. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a low of 31.

2. THANKSGIVING AND BLACK FRIDAY CLOSING REMINDERS: All town offices, schools, Nesmith Library and the Transfer Station will be closed on Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Happy holidays!

3. DECISION ON BUILDING CAPACITY: The Windham School Board will decide which of its two capacity solution options it will endorse for the March ballot tonight. A budget discussion and other items will also take place. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the Community Development Department.

4. THIS DAY IN HISTORY: On this day in 1962, President John F. Kennedy issues Executive Order 11063, which mandates an end to discrimination in housing. The order, which came during the burgeoning Civil Rights movement, prohibited federally funded housing agencies from denying housing or funding for housing to anyone based on their race, color, creed or national origin.
