1. TODAY'S FORECAST:Today is expected to creep up around a high of 50 again, but early evening showers could turn into snow showers and a low of 33 tonight.
2. IROBOT ENGINEER AT NESMITH LIBRARY: From the Nesmith Library website, coming Tuesday April 23 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.:
The Nesmith Library welcomes iRobot engineer, Doug Marsden, and a few robots. Please join us for a presentation on robotics, possible career paths in the field and an up close and personal look at some very cool robots.

Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to this informal presentation. Get a chance to interact with the robots, have any questions answered and enjoy a few snacks. If you are interested in engineering, computer science or just think robots are cool; this is the event for you.
3. HELP WINDHAM PATCH TO 1,000 FACEBOOK 'LIKES': Windham residents, we are ever so close to the elusive mark of 1,000 Facebook 'likes.' At last check, we were at 955, just 45 'likes' away from our eventual goal. Click here to visit the page and 'like' Windham Patch today.

4. THIS DAY IN HISTORY: The University of Oregon defeats The Ohio State University 46–33 on this day in 1939 to win the first-ever NCAA men’s basketball tournament. The Final Four, as the tournament became known, has grown exponentially in size and popularity since 1939. By 2005, college basketball had become the most popular sporting event among gamblers, after the Super Bowl. The majority of that betting takes place at tournament time, when Las Vegas, the internet and office pools around the country see action from sports enthusiasts and once-a-year gamblers alike.
5. SPECIAL SCHOOL BOARD MEETING REMINDER: A reminder that a special school board meeting will take place tomorrow in order to determine a course for the default budget. The meeting will take place at the SAU office at 7 p.m.
