1. TODAY'S FORECAST: Expect partly cloudy skies and a high of 41 today, followed by mostly cloudy skies and a low of 22 tonight.
2. WRESTLING STATE MEET INFO: The Division III State Meet is scheduled to take place this Saturday, Feb. 16 at Windham High School. Weigh-ins will start at 8 a.m. with preliminaries set to kick off at 9 a.m. The Windham squad finished the regular season with a perfect 10-0 record.
3. VALENTINE'S DAY AT GBS: The following information has been provided for Valentine's Day parties at Golden Brook School:

THIS DAY IN HISTORY: On this day in 1633, Italian philosopher, astronomer and mathematician Galileo Galilei arrives in Rome to face charges of heresy for advocating Copernican theory, which holds that the Earth revolves around the Sun. Galileo officially faced the Roman Inquisition in April of that same year and agreed to plead guilty in exchange for a lighter sentence. Put under house arrest indefinitely by Pope Urban VIII, Galileo spent the rest of his days at his villa in Arcetri, near Florence, before dying on January 8, 1642.
