Flags will be at half staff to observe the 71-year anniversary.

2. NEW HAMPSHIRE OBSERVES PEARL HARBOR: To observe the 71st anniverary of the Pearl Harbor attacks, flags in New Hampshire have been ordered to half staff by Gov. John Lynch.
3. WREATH SALE TOMORROW: A Christmas wreath and kissing ball sale will take place tomorrow at Windham Center School from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Find out more information including prices here.

4. THIS DAY IN HISTORY: At 7:55 a.m. Hawaii time, a Japanese dive bomber bearing the red symbol of the Rising Sun of Japan on its wings appears out of the clouds above the island of Oahu. A swarm of 360 Japanese warplanes followed, descending on the U.S. naval base at Pearl Harbor in a ferocious assault. The surprise attack struck a critical blow against the U.S. Pacific fleet and drew the United States irrevocably into World War II.
5. TREE LIGHTING, SPAGHETTI SUPPER: Windham's annual tree lighting and coinciding spaghetti dinner at Windham Presbyterian Church will take place from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. The events will all take place near the church in the Town Commons.
