Five Things: Rockefeller Tree Lighting Today
Also, town planners will discuss a sign change request for 125 Indian Rock Road.

1. TODAY'S FORECAST: A partly cloudy day with a high of 39 will give way to a partly cloudy night with a low of 24.
2. ROCKEFELLER TREE GETS A LITTLE BIT BRIGHTER: An 80-foot Norway spruce tree from New Jersey that survived Hurricane Sandy will serve as this year's Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center Plaza. The massive spruce will be lit tonight. Performances from Rod Stewart, Cee Lo Green, Mariah Carey and Tony Bennett, and appearances from Billy Crystal and Bette Midler will take place.
3. SANTA AT WINDHAM JUNCTION: From the Windham Junction Facebook page: Santa Clause is coming two Sunday's this year. December 9th and again on December 16th. Free Cookies, Hot Chocolate, Music, and family pictures. The ideal setting for a traditional family gathering. Pick out a beautiful tree while you are here and warm up near the pot bellied stove. Gifts and ornaments available in the store as well. Hope you can make it!
