Five Things: Yard Waste Reminder

1. TODAY'S FORECAST: Today is expected to be sunny with a high of 49. Expect clear skies tonight with a low of 32.

2. YARD WASTE: Residents are advised that, in response to debris/damage resulting from Hurricane Sandy, the Town’s yard waste disposal hours have been extended. The site, located at the old landfill on Marblehead Road, will be available to residents every Saturday in November. Hours of operation are 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and accepted materials include:

Compost: Leaves, grass clippings, wood chips or mulch, hay or straw

Brush: Nothing over 8 inches in diameter or 4 feet in length.

No stumps, plastic bags, pots/containers, or metal of any kind will be accepted at the drop-off. Should you have any questions, contact the Highway Agent at 216-5676.
