3. CHARITY 5K TOMORROW: A 5K to benefit the rehabiliation of Tim Morris, a former victim resident recovering from a paralyzing car accident, will take place tomorrow at 9 a.m. at Windham High School.
4. THIS DAY IN HISTORY: On this day in 1981, Pete Rose of the Philadelphia Phillies gets the 3,631st hit of his baseball career, breaking Stan Musial's record for most hits by a National Leaguer. The record-breaking hit came in a game against the St. Louis Cardinals, the team with whom Musial had spent his entire career, and the former hits king was on hand to congratulate Rose.

A NEW HAMPSHIRE LITTLE LEAGUE SQUAD ON THE VERGE OF WILLIAMSPORT: If you haven't been watching NESN, you might not know that a Little League squad out of nearby Bedford is one game away from heading to Williamsport for the national tournament.
