2. KINDERGARTEN NAMING: The School Board discussed naming the new kindergarten wing at Golden Brook School to the Dr. Henry LaBranche Kindergarten. According to a resident in attendance, the board was in favor of the idea but wants to hear public input at a future date.

3. CIP MEETING: The Highway Department, Recreation Department and Historic Committee Department will all have presentations on the agenda tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the Community Development Department.
4. THIS DAY IN HISTORY: In 1881, American humanitarians Clara Barton and Adolphus Solomons founded the American National Red Cross, an organization designed to provide humanitarian aid to victims of wars and natural disasters in congruence with the International Red Cross.
