2. MEMORIAL FUND FOR WINDHAM TODDLER: State Representative David Bates has established a memorial fund in the wake of . The "Okerman Family Memorial Fund" has been established through Citizens Bank. Those wishing to contribute can send a check made out to the fund to 115 Indian Rock Road, Windham, N.H. 03087. Contributions can also be made by visiting any Citizens Bank branch and requesting to make a deposit to the fund.

3. SUMMER READING LISTS: Reading lists from Windham schools for grades 1-3 are now available on the Nesmith Library website. Head on over and download the lists.
4. THIS DAY IN HISTORY: On July 10, 1999, the U.S. women’s soccer team defeats China to win their second Women’s World Cup. The game ended in a 5-4 shootout after 120 scoreless minutes: 90 tightly played minutes of regulation dictated by the United States and 30 tense minutes of overtime largely controlled by the Chinese. The title game was played at the Rose Bowl in southern California in front of 90,185 fans, the largest crowd ever to attend a women’s sporting event.
