1. TODAY'S FORECAST: While some a.m. showers are in the forecast, its still expected to be a hot day with a high of 89. That will dip to an overnight low of 67 and partly cloudy skies.

2. NO SELECTMEN: The Board of Selectmen will not meet tonight. The next scheduled meeting is July 23.

3. 12U SOFTBALL HEADED TO NEW ENGLANDS: The Windham 12-and-under softball squad won the state championship over the weekend, beating out Monadnock 7-6. The team will head to New Englands in Connecticut this coming weekend. We will have more information for you this week.

4. THIS DAY IN HISTORY: The world's first parking meter, known as Park-O-Meter No. 1, is installed on the southeast corner of what was then First Street and Robinson Avenue in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on this day in 1935.
