1. TODAY'S FORECAST: It's a lot more of the same in the forecast today, which depending on if you like sweltering, record-setting heat or not, could be a good thing or a bad thing. A high of 96 is in the forecast with mostly sunny skies. That will dip into an overnight low of 69.

2. SUSPICIOUS MAN PROWLING IN THE LOWELL ROAD AREA: Two separate incidents were reported by Windham Police yesterday, and they are asking residents to be on the lookout for a suspicious man in a tan Ford Taurus.

3. WINDEMS TO MEET: The Democratic Town Committee will meet in the Windham High School media center at 7 p.m. Political consultant Michael Goldman will be the guest speaker.

4. THIS DAY IN HISTORY: New Hampshire becomes the ninth and last necessary state to ratify the Constitution of the United States, thereby making the document the law of the land.
