3. CALLING HOURS FOR DAVID MASON ARE TONIGHT: Calling hours for David Mason, the Windham resident who drowned in Canobie Lake late last week, will be Tuesday, June 26th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, N.H.
4. THIS DAY IN HISTORY: On this day in 1956, the U.S. Congress approves the Federal Highway Act, which allocates more than $30 billion for the construction of some 41,000 miles of interstate highways; it will be the largest public construction project in U.S. history to that date.
