3. BIDEN/RYAN BACK IN NEW HAMPSHIRE: The vice president and vice presidential nominee will both be in the state this week. Joe Biden will host campaign events with his wife Dr. Jill Biden on Friday, Sept. 21 and Saturday, Sept. 22. Paul Ryan will host a town hall in Dover on Tuesday, Sept. 18.

4. THIS DAY IN HISTORY: The Constitution of the United States of America is signed by 38 of 41 delegates present at the conclusion of the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia. Supporters of the document waged a hard-won battle to win ratification by the necessary nine out of 13 U.S. states.
