Fright Kingdom, 12 Simon St., Nashua
Made up of five terrifying attractions, designed to scare, not spook. Check out the following attractions, during your visit to Fright Kingdom:
Apocalypse Z: An unexplained phenomenon has begun to make the locals act...peculiar. Reports of their behavior has caught the attention of the authorities and a special government team has been deployed to "study and contain" - "rescue" is not a mission priority. Contact with the team has now been lost and the worst is suspected. This state of the art attraction utilizes video, realism and Hollywood special effects. Can you avoid the contamination?
Bloodmare Manor: Built in the early 1800's, Bloodmare Manor is home to the notorious and diabolical Bloodmares, a family stained with a dark and sordid history. You are dared to come and witness the demented and disturbed Bloodmare Family in this Victorian manor of terror. On your journey, you will encounter the dark and gruesome mysteries of a family like no others. At each twist and turn you will face your biggest fears. Only the bravest will survive.
Carnival of Corpses 3-D: Carnival of Corpses appears in a state of wild uproar and confusion and guests can expect nothing less from this attraction. This special 3D haunted house has custom illusions and crazed clowns that bring this madhouse to life. The sensory overload experienced in this attraction is sure to make it a crowd favorite.
Grim: One of the darkest words in the dictionary, Grim, utilizes the absence of light to accentuate fear. At times, visitors won’t be able to see their own hand in front of their faces, so even light becomes a weapon. Visitors will attempt to twist and squeeze their way about a labyrinth of pure darkness. Only the bravest will “survive.”
Vampire Castle: All is silent when the sun sits high, but at the stroke of dusk, it is said that the castle comes alive with bone-chilling shrieks and dastardly deeds. In the Vampire Castle, all corridors lead straight to spine-tingling frights, where you just might wind up as an immortal’s delicious delight. Do you have what it takes to make it out alive?
Fright Kingdom is open Fridays and Saturdays from 7-11 p.m. and Sundays from 7-10 p.m. It will also be open Thursday, Oct. 31, from 7-11 p.m. and closes for the season on Nov. 2. Tickets to Fright Kingdom range from $17 to $34 and you can save money by buying VIP tickets online.

Haunted Acres, Liquid Planet Water Park, 446 Raymond Road, Candia
Area 52, a facility that performed weird and scary experiments on people is alive with the undead who've come back to roam the grounds and force out or take with them anyone who dares to enter the property. Haunted Acres, at the Liquid Planet Water Park is another five-attraction haunted adventure destined to terrify those who plan to visit.Quarter Mile Nightmare Walk
A part of the huge, 46-acre Area 52 facility includes woods that are so dark and impenetrable that even the guards were afraid to enter. Some of the most seriously deranged residents of Area 52 escaped into those woods in hopes of escaping capture. In these woods they still roam. If you are brave enough to venture into the darkness, we suggest that you bring running shoes … because you will almost certainly spend time running for your life.
Graveyard of the Damned
Before the government seized the land that became Area 52, a small New Hampshire hamlet existed. All that is left is an abandoned graveyard, where the Area 52 guards buried the deranged victims of the facility’s wild and failed experiments. The dead were buried in shallow graves, directly on top of existing graves. This uncomfortable arrangement created violent psychos who cannot find their peace, now roaming the cemetery seeking revenge upon any who enter. One of the frequent inhabitants is “The Human Floor”.
Maze from Hell: The Maze from Hell is a trip to the edge of darkness, from which a few have failed to return. Enter 2,500 square feet of almost total blackness, with terrifying souls lurking around every corner. With luck, you will find your way out alive!
3-D Nuclear Accident House: The reactor that powered the Area 52 facility was the victim of sabotage. The resulting radiation leak created a mutant band of lunatics who still roam the labs and halls, terrorizing all who enter the facility. Wear the protective glasses that are supplied at the entrance to help you to see your way through the clouds of radioactive steam.
Cell Block 13: Cell Block 13 houses experimental labs, the guards’ quarters, and a secret tunnel leading into the depths of the base. These claustrophobic corridors now house flesh-eating inmates who wait out their time in the darkness.
Tickets for Haunted Acres are $19 for kids and $27 for adults and can be bought online or at the door. Save $3 per ticket when you buy online. Cash only at the gate. Haunted Acres is open Thursdays and Sundays from 6-10 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays 6-11 p.m. Closing day is Nov. 2 at 10 p.m.
