
After a convincing semifinals victory this week, the Windham High School girls lacrosse squad is set to compete for a state championship.
The no. 2 seed lady Jaguars blasted past Derryfield School 16-7 Monday. They will compete against no. 5 seed Lebanon for the Division III title on Thursday at 7 p.m.
The final will take place at Southern New Hampshire University.

Windham netted both a state championship and an undefeated, 18-0 season last year.
What has become a dominant team has lost only two games this year – once to Portsmouth on April 27 and again to Pinkerton Academy on May 15.

WHS has not faced off against Lebanon this year.
En route to the state championship game, Windham advanced with a bye in round one and took out no. 7 seed Hopkinton 19-3 in the quarterfinals.
