Home Invasion Victims Sentenced to Six Months

The Eagle-Tribune reported today that the two men arrested following a July 18 armed home invasion in Windham were each given six-month suspended sentences.

Leonides Arango-Fernandez, 59, of Miami, Fla. was found guilty on a misdemeanor charge of drug possession and Cesar Tavarez, 28, of Orlando, Fla. was found guilty of criminal liability for the conduct of another.

Windham Police Capt. Mike Caron said at the time that the two were living in the house, and both were victims of the invasion. Drimel Reyes, 58, who is listed at the 59 Bear Hill Road address where the invasion took place, was also arrested and charged with manufacture of controlled drugs and possession of controlled/narcotic drugs.
