Huge Mattress Sale to Take Over WHS Gymnasium
Here are five things you should know in Windham today.
1. Mattress sale! For the second year in a row, Windham High School will host a mattress sale in its gymnasium. A portion of the proceeds from the sale, which takes place on Saturday, Nov. 16, will benefit the WHS band program.
2. The weatherman says ... Today's forecasted high, according to Weather.com, is 55 degrees with mostly sunny skies and a 0-percent chance of rain. The overnight low is projected at 32 degrees.
3. Honoring our Veterans. Don't forget, next Monday, Nov. 11, is Veterans' Day, a scheduled day off at Windham public schools. Windham Town offices and U.S. Post offices will also be closed for the holiday.
