On Saturday, June 30, 2012, the Town of Windhamcelebrated their Annual Town Day and Fireworks Festivities.  The day was a huge success, thanks to the many who contributed.

Town Day was held at Griffin Park where people enjoyed great food, great music, and fun games.  Thank you to:  Mike Sorter, The Windham Community Band, Mad Science®, Margaret Case, Tom Case, Mary Griffin, Dennis Senibaldi, Roger Hohenberger, Michelle Joyce, Dennis Breton, Ralph Valentine, Bill Brennan, Glen Yergeau, Tim Kelleher, Scott Mueller, Jessica O’Neill and State Farm Insurance, the girls from Girl Scout Troop 11182 (Kayla, Katie, Carly, Cassidy, Amanda), Izzy A., Professional Martial Arts, GK&K Pushcarts, Holly’s Kona Ice, Paul Lutz, Tina Boermeester, and Emma Joanis. 

That evening, we celebrated the fireworks at WindhamHigh School.  Thank you to:  The Hot Tamales, RS Fireworks, Windham School District, Kevin Greenwood, Windham Fire Department, Windham Police Department, Captain Carl Wagner, Chief Gerry Lewis, Chief Tom McPherson, and Asst. Chief Ed Morgan.  Special thanks to the Eagle Tribune, Howie Glynn’s, and Casella for their generous donations. 

On behalf of the Windham Recreation Department, thank you to all who helped, and to all who attended.
