Local Man Crashes Into Convenience Store While Drunk Driving

Pelham Police responded last night to a drunk driver who reportedly crashed into a convenience store on Mammoth Road.

According to reports, Bernard Zannoni, 56, of Pelham crashed into Ray's Stateline around 6:30 p.m.

Zannoni showed signs of impairment at the scene, and after performing a series of field sobriety tests he was subsequently arrested for driving while intoxicated.

He was also charged with having an open container of alcohol.

The convenience store sustained significant damage. No one inside was injured.
