Man Brandishes Gun, Robs Windham Gas Station
Police are searching for both an armed suspect and a person of interest.
Windham Police are actively seeking help identifying a man who committed armed robbery at Klemms Mobile Sunday night.
According to a prepared police release, the man entered the 124 Indian Rock Road convenience store around 10:45 p.m. Sunday, went behind the counter and took an undisclosed amount of money before running behind the building and fleeing the scene in what investigators believe was a brown or gold Ford Explorer SUV.
The 20- to 25-year-old white male, who is described as being roughly 5'6" tall with a thin build, was wearing black jeans, black gloves and a black hooded sweatshirt with white lettering at the time of the crime.
Another man, who was wearing a green Boston Celtics hooded sweatshirt and red hat, is also sought by police. He is considered a "person of interest "in that he was in the store at the time of the crime, but Windham Captain Mike Caron said there is no indication at this point that the second man had any involvement in the robbery.
