Meet Future Leaders From Windham

Patch and T-Mobile have partnered to highlight young people's academic achievements as they prepare for the future.

WINDHAM, NH — The future of Windham is looking bright, thanks to the incredible young people working to strengthen our community. In partnership with T-Mobile, Patch is proud to spotlight future leaders working hard at college to prepare for the future.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) celebrated its 2025 Commencement with a series of ceremonies honoring graduates' achievements across all degree levels.

The following graduates earned BS degrees:

Emanuel Sweeney from Windham, majored in Computer Science and Interactive Media and Game Development - Technology.

Lauren Brooks from Windham, majored in Biochemistry

Collin Mello from Windham, received a BS/MS Degree

Holy Cross celebrated the 733 bachelor of arts degree recipients at its 179th Commencement held in person on Friday, May 23 at the DCU Center in Worcester.

The following local students earned degrees:

Abigail Hughes of Windham, Cum Laude

Madison O'Hare of Windham

Luke Jeffrey Levine of Windham, a junior majoring in computer science, was named a Presidential Scholar for the Spring 2025 semester at Clarkson University and to the Dean's List for the Spring 2025. Presidential Scholars must achieve a minimum 3.80 grade-point average and carry at least 14 credit hours. Dean's List students must achieve a minimum 3.25 grade-point average and carry 14 credit hours.

Emily Ray of Windham, was one of 614 students to process at Stonehill College's 74th Commencement, held on Sunday, May 18, 2025.

Southern New Hampshire University congratulates the following students on being named to the Spring 2025 President's List. The spring terms run from January to May. Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.7 and above for the reporting term are named to the President's List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer:

Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer:

On March 29, The School of Performing Arts at DeSales University presented the 25th Annual DeSales University Film Festival and awards were distributed for films shown. Windham resident and DeSales TV/Film major Sam Hoyt won the Best Screenplay Award for the film "GrAcIe" at the Festival.

Joshua Fox of Windham is majoring in Media Arts Production and is a member of the Emerson College Class of 2027. The requirement to make the Dean's List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester.

Abigail Palmer of Windham was recently elected to membership into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society, at Sacred Heart University.

Mahi Patel of Windham was recently elected to membership into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society, at Nova Southeastern University.

Jack Krasnof, Class of 2028 of Windham, was named to the dean's list at Tufts University for the fall 2024 semester. Dean's list honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.
