Men at Windham High Raise $2,400 to Fight Cancer

BUZZ FOR BUCKS A BIG SUCCESS: At last night's Windham School Board meeting, it was announced that $2,400 was raised for cancer research at Windham High School on Tuesday as part of the now annual "Buzz for bucks" event, where men at the school shave their heads for awareness. Girls also get their locks chopped off to be used as wigs for cancer patients as part of the "Pantene Beautiful Lengths portion of the event.

3. MEDFORD WOMAN IS SECOND VICTIM, THIRD A BU GRAD STUDENT: Yesterday, it was learned that the second victim in Monday's Boston Marathon bombing was a 29-year-old Medford woman, while the third victim, still unidentified, was a BU grad student.

4. THIS DAY IN HISTORY: On April 17, 1970, with the world anxiously watching, Apollo 13, a U.S. lunar spacecraft that suffered a severe malfunction on its journey to the moon, safely returns to Earth.

5. 'SWEET CAROLINE' AT YANKEE STADIUM: An awfully stirring moment took place during the eighth inning at Yankee Stadium on Tuesday.
