NH: Not a 'Nanny' State After All

You will get lost in here for hours if, like me, you are fascinated by words. And not just words, but how they are spoken, who says "soda" and who says "pop."

The Dialect Survey Map the brainchild of Joshua Katz, a PhD student in the Department of Statistics at NC State University, who says his interests include spatial statistics, epidemiological modeling, data visualization and information design.

And whether people are inclined to say "soda," or "pop." 

We chose Manchester, one of the closer New Hampshire cities to Windham.
