The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announced today that night paving work will begin on Aug. 15 on Interstate 93 in Londonderry and Windham.
The paving work will take place between 9 p.m. and 6 p.m. in the area of Exit 4. It will also include the southbound on and off ramps of that exit.
According to NHDOT, the work is anticipated to be completed by the end of August.

The department issued a release detailing the work:
This work will be accomplished using lane closures with minimal impact to the traveling public. To allow the paving of the southbound on and off ramps at Exit 4, the ramps will be temporarily closed and traffic detoured to the next exit to reverse direction and return to Exit 4.

Electronic message signs will be used to inform motorists of upcoming work. Uniformed officers and traffic control devices will be used to slow, direct, and assist motorists through the work zone.
The resurfacing project will cost $800,000, and is being contracted by Brox Industries, Inc. of Dracut, Mass.
