
Rosemary Gallant, 84, of Windham, NH died Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at the Parkland Medical Center, Derry, NH following a period of declining health. She was born on November 1, 1927 in Prince Edward Island, a daughter of the late Peter and Helen (MacDonald) MacPhee. Mrs. Gallant was a communicant of St Anne’s Parish in Hampstead. In her later years, she enjoyed Bingo, playing cards and crafts.
She is survived by one daughter, Arlene Gallant and her husband Luc St-Onge of Longueuil, Quebec, Canada, one grandson, Mathieu St-Onge of Longueuil, two sisters, Ellen Walsh and her husband Henry and Tillie MacDonald and her husband Joseph, one brother, Louis MacPhee, three sisters-in law, Mary MacPhee, Ann Gallant, and Ruth Gallant, brother and sister-in-law, Everett and Shirley Gallant, also many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Ivan G. Gallant in 2004.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday August 4, 2012 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Warde Health Care, 21 Searles Road, Windham, NH. Family and friends are invited to gather from 10:00 – 11:00am in the Chapel prior to the Mass. Private Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Scarboro Missions, PO Box 61208 STN BRM B, Toronto, ONT M7Y2P1.
