Part of 'Godspell' Proceeds to Help Grad Fighting Cancer

2. 'GODSPELL' OPENS TONIGHT, PORTION OF PROCEEDS TO GO TOWARD GOOD CAUSE: With the Windham Actors Guild's presentation of 'Godspell' set to open tonight at 7:30 p.m., $2 from each ticket will go to the CJay DiPrima Cancer Fund. Just before Christmas, the former Windham High School graduate was diagnosed with a rare form of lymphoma called "grey zone" lymphoma (stage 2).

Tickets for the event at Windham High School are $15 for adults and $12 for seniors and students. Shows will also take place Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. All seats are reserved and tickets can be purchased online here.

4. THIS DAY IN HISTORY: Modern rock icon Kurt Cobain commits suicide on this day in 1994. His body was discovered inside his home in Seattle, Washington, three days later by Gary Smith, an electrician, who was installing a security system in the suburban house. Despite indications that Cobain, the lead singer of Nirvana, killed himself, several skeptics questioned the circumstances of his death and pinned responsibility on his wife, Courtney Love.
