PATCH ANSWERS: When are the 4th of July Festivities in Windham?

Independence Day is fast approaching in Windham, and before July 4 comes, the town's annual fireworks celebration will be held.

According to Recreation Coordinator Cheryl Haas, the fireworks will take place at Windham High School on June 29 at 9:15 p.m.

At 7 p.m., the Blues Brothers - the Next Generation Band will perform, co-sponsored by ConvenientMD.

The parking lot will open at 5:30 p.m.

Earlier in the day, Griffin Park will host Windham's annual Town Day from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Windham's community band will perform, and there will be a free barbecue and games for the kids.
