A protest on Friday at the Windham High School cafeteria emerged from a political science class unit on civil disobedience, according to a report from the Eagle Tribune.
Students chose school lunches, staging a brown-bag protest of the meals. The paper said that lunches were chosen as the means to experience civil disobedience over 10 to 15 other ideas.
The Windham School District ditched its former food service provider, the Abbey Group, hiring a food service director and beginning its own operation this year.
