Public Hearing on School District Budget is Tonight
Here are five things you should know today.
1. Know before you vote. On Friday, Jan. 17, the Windham School Board holds a public hearing on its proposed budget at 7 p.m.
2. The weatherman says ... the temperatures rise back into the mid-40s today with a mix of clouds and sun and a daytime high of 44 degrees. The overnight low is 29 degrees and the chance of precipitation is 20 percent throughout the day.
3. Library closed for upcoming holiday. Don't forget, the Nesmith Public Library will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Never fear, there are still plenty of fun activities on the agenda. Find this week's library calendar here.
