Senate President Peter Bragdon announced the 11 standing committees for the 2013-2014 legislative term today, and a local senator has retained his seat. District 19 Sen. Jim Rasuch (R-Derry), will once again serve as chairman of the Transportation Committee. He also represents Windham and Hampstead. Rasuch beat out Democratic opponent Christopher Reisdorf to retain his seat in the state Senate in November.
