School District Welcomes 28 New Hires
A lot of new faces will be educating Windham students this fall.
The Windham School District is extremely busy this week planning for the start of the 2012-2013 school year, and part of that preparation is the welcoming of 28 new educators.
The majority of those hires will be seen in the classrooms of Windham High School, as 15 new employees went through a "new teacher orientation" yesterday.
But Windham's newest classrooms – the kindergarten expansion at Golden Brook School – will mostly see staff members from last year transitioning into the new wing.

Kids attending schools in the Windham District will have the opportunity to meet many of their new teachers during both orientation and meet and greet sessions scheduled to take place early next week.

In total, there are four new hires at Golden Brook School, five new hires at Windham Center School, four new hires at Windham Middle School and 15 new hires at Windham High School.
