Scouts to Go Door-to-Door Collecting Food Saturday
Non-perishable items will be distributed to community members in need.
Windham Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts will be traveling around town Saturday, Nov. 9 collecting non-perishable food items for their annual 'Scouting for Food' drive.
The effort begins at 9 a.m. and residents are asked to leave food items (no g lass containers) outside by their mailboxes or doors for collection.
All items will be brought to the Windham Center School cafeteria where they'll be sorted and packed for distribution to local families in need.
