With Capital Improvement Plan submissions coming in from various town departments, Windham Police and Windham Fire each submitted their requests this week. Windham Police submitted a project totaling $84,600, with impact fees offsetting the cost to a total of $61,292. Part of the request is for mobile radio replacement, which was discussed and approved at a previous Board of Selectmen meeting. The department is also seeking Mobile Data Terminal (MDT) upgrades. The Fire Department mapped out a detailed CIP outline from now until 2020. For its FY13 items, the department placed a CIP request for a 2008 ambulance replacement, costing $200,000, and a self contained breathing apparatus replacement, totaling $202,867. We have attached PDF files of both CIP requests for review.
