As the Windham School District enters an important budget season, the entire FY14 proposed budget is now available online for viewing.
This year's default budget shows a 3.46 percent increase due to increases in New Hampshire retirement rates, health insurance, transportation contracts, special education and the SAU 28 split.
Residents voted down the school's proposed FY13 operating budget in March, causing the district to use the default budget.

This year's operating budget is a 1.12 percent increase above the default budget.
The proposed operating budget includes a realignment of special education administration positions, a realignment of the facilities department and new positions in all four schools to address enrollment increases.

Funds for an additional school bus are also included.
