St. Laurent Seeks State Senate Seat

Mary E. Griffin, Walter Kolodziej and Charles E. McMahon are running but Kevin Waterhouse opts not to seek another term representing Windham in the House.

The state candidate filing period closed June 13 and the top of the ticket features races in which Republicans are trying to unseat Democratic incumbents, from the governor's office to U.S. Senate. 

The state filing period closed at 5 p.m. Friday, but the Republican and Democratic parties have until June 18 to fill vacancies on party tickets.

Below is a look at the candidates filing for local seats, according to the Secretary of State's website updated June 13 (some last-minute filings may not be represented in the state's report just yet, and will be updated Monday; incumbents' names are in bold):
