Big improvements for Interstate 93 between Exit 2 in Salem and Exit 3 in Windham have been approved.

Big improvements for Interstate 93 between Exit 2 in Salem and Exit 3 in Windham have been approved by Gov. Maggie Hassan and her Executive Council, according to the Eagle-Tribune.
The Eagle-Tribune has reported that the project, which is slated for completion by October 2016 and will require roadblocks and temporary traffic pattern changes, has a $32.2 million price tag. That's $3.6 million under the original estimated price.
In addition to widening I-93 from the Exit 2 northbound onramp to north of Exit 3, the project will relocate Route 111, Route 111A and the northbound portion of the Exit 3 interchange, according to the paper.
