Storm to Bring Strong Winds, Possible Snow

The area is bracing for another storm – a nor'easter that should hit the area tonight.

New Hampshire and the Northeast are in store for more severe weather this week, as a nor'easter is expected to blow through the area Wednesday afternoon and into Thursday morning.

The storm, which will likely bring high winds to more coastal areas, is expected to bring rain, snow and more moderate winds with gusts up to 37 mph in the Merrimack area.

However, the incoming storm's winds could be even more damaging than those brought by Hurricane Sandy last week, as many trees, limbs and structures have already been weakened by last week's storm, forecasters say.
